Tetra ESP Feedback Distortion

By liamgrepus

This uses a DSI Tetra as a mechanism for overdriving the filters and emphasizing resonant harmonics. Tetra settings: Tetra is tuned P4 beneath MS20. Basic patch, attack=1 release 100-max SubOsc1=20, Filter resonance=6 to 9 o'clock approximately, Filter audio mod 1-50, Filter resonance ranges from 50 to 100 (Values over 100 will trigger an oscillatory high frequency wah type effect, may not be to everyone's taste, master volume from 11 o'clock to max. As I used it, pitch and gate were controlled via Qunexus. varoius things can be patched into S&H if desired for HPF modulation. Basically, what happens is that as you adjust the volume on the Tetra you get more overdrive and the filter cutoff on the Tetra will also effect the pseudo BPF on the MS20. If you drop either very low, filters will bottom out and you will get a nice deep sub bass. Variants can kill the release on the Tetra which will give more of an envelope effect to filter modulation. Try Osc1 Scale as you play!
